Brown Family

Well our home for the summer will be in central Illinois! I'm ecstatic that ill have Auri to hang out with this summer! But I'm gonna miss my old summer sales wifey friends! But hopefully cars will find some more married recruits! Speaking of Auri.. She is just becoming the most beautiful little person! She is just starting to scoot around and roll over! She is 5 months and 10 days and she sleeps awesome at night now but she sleeps so long at night she takes a bunch of short catnaps in the day! It's exhausting but I guess that's what I signed up for! So the past 2 weeks have been so incredibly tough! We have all been little sickies here! It's only January and I've already had 3 colds this winter! Poor Auri just got over her 2nd cold.. She is so brave though. She was still smiley and sweet! Christmas was amazing! We were so blessed and got so many presents! Auri already is a toy lover! Well that's about all that's new with us!!

Auri had her 2 month shots this week and she handled it like a champ! She cried for a few minutes and was fine from then on. She was a little fussy for a couple days because she had a fever and I'm sure her little legs were sore! But I think she was also going through a growth spurt at the time because she was waking up early from all her naps hungry and waking up multiple times at night! Last night was by far the worst. I think I slept for a total of 3 hours and that was broken up over maybe 4 or 5 segments! She had a tummy ache from some spicy food I had for dinner.. We both learned our lesson... No more spicy food! But there is good news too! Carson started his internship and will hopefully be done by march and then he will finally graduate!! Also Carson won an award at vivint for having the top first year office in his region! Which is great and he is going to join offices this year with another team and hopefully have another great summer! I'm so proud of all of his har...

Well the good news is I found out I can blog from my phone! This hopefully means I will be a little bit better at updating my blog! So tomorrow Auri is going to be 2 months old! Holy crap the time has flown by! She still feels brand new to my life and I don't know if I'll ever get used to the fact that I'm a mommy! I always hear about a mothers love and that you will think your baby is beautiful no matter what.. Well I won't lie I was worried I was going to have an ugly alien baby. I know it sounds so vain but I didn't care I just didn't want it for her sake! Well the good news is I literally have the most beautiful precious baby I have ever seen! I can't believe how in love with her I am and how much joy she brings to me and Carson's life! Not only that but she is a great baby! Don't get me wrong we have our good and bad days and I am definitely tired.. (Especially now since its 4am) But over all she is happy and sleeps good and is super strong! ...

Well I'm about as good at blogging as I am at writing in my journal!! But I am hopefully going to get better.. So lots of big big stuff has happened since I last blogged. Biggest news is there is going to be a new precious addition to my little family! A baby girl hooray! This little baby will be born in Lincoln Nebraska if all goes according to plan! So In February of this year we bought and moved into our new home which was wonderful for the 2 months that we were able to live in it! It did however making moving this summer a lot easier! And we cannot wait to bring a baby back home with us!

So i've got to write this down so that i will be held accountable for it. This summer i am going to work on my cooking abilities! I will make good meals with sides dishes that are healthy and that look good so that Carson and I can come home in good shape! I am going to make our apartment this summer a home and it will be decorated and be a place where carson can come home and be happy. And i'm going to use my awesome cricket to help me do it!! I am going to stay fit by playing outdoors and swimming and playing tennis and volleyball!! I am going to get a good tan!! And lastly I am going to get involved with my ward this summer and find ways to be able to serve people while i am there!! Oh and I'm going to become better at updating my blog about whats happening with the little Brown family!

So I thought starting a blog would be good for me because then instead of writing in a journal, I could just blog about stuff. But it turns out im about as good as blogging as I am at writing in my journal.. Oh well, maybe I will get better at it this summer when i have a little more time on my hands!! The last few months have been great, I've had great opportunities with work to move up in the short time I have been here. Right now I am filling in at the front desk while they are doing the interviewing process! I am still able to do my HR work down here but its just more of a fun atmosphere and I get to work all day with my good friend Krisia!! Who i was working on the project with earlier in the year! As great as it has been I did have to put in my two weeks notice today!! Its bitter sweet, I will miss all the friends I was able to make here but I am looking forward to another summer adventure with Carson!! Last summer was the absolute funnest summer!! And I have a feeling this ...

Six months in and still cruising! To celebrate we decided to go to Texas road house where we somehow skipped the 30 minute wait and were seated in the best seat in town! That is a true story but is sort of a metaphor of our whole marriage. Ever since we got married we have been so blessed from little things like getting seated early to big things like a job promotion at work! I am so excited to get to spend this christmas with the love of my life and my new family who I love so much. Talk about a blessing for me! We had such a fun time at thanksgiving at the big brown reunion. Me and carson spent the majority of our time playing pickle ball a mix between tennis and ping pong! I am mostly excited to just be surrounded by family during the holidays and be with my best friend! We had such a fun time decorating our christmas tree and we even have some presents under them! I also a couple weeks ago went to my first wrestling match and i have a feeling that i'll be going to plenty mor...
