Our Story

Alot has happened in the last few months, that I never would have imagined happening! All great things of course! Carson and I after a long windy road finally tied the knot! We met at raintree at the beginning of 2009 where I was introduced to him at our singles ward and he had been given the calling of my home teacher (thank you bishop weber!!) As Carson would put it I was a very hard girl to figure out! But of course that didnt stop him! I doubt there is anyone more persistent on this planet then Carson Brown! So we dated for a couple months and Carson was signed up to sell APX in Indiana when the school semester ended.. it wouldn't have been a big deal except that we fell in love!
The day before he left, he took me on a walk by deer creek, it has the most beautiful view! He made his dad go before hand and hide a dozen roses behind a bush! That is where he first told me he loved me, he is such a romantic! Then the next day he was gone, and i was a lonely 18 year old girl who lived in a college environment.. not a good combination when your trying to have a long distance relationship with someone! So after a few weeks of talking on the phone for hours at night I decided and carson agreed that I should still go on dates. And I did go on dates, and i had a blast! But who wouldnt? two words.. Free dinner!
So when Carson flew me out to visit him my mind was set that we weren't going to date and do this distance thing and when he came home we would see how it went! And despite that we both still had a great time while i was out there! Playing at the pool, really gross cheesecake factory! making carson watch my favorite tv show that he bought me for my birthday!
So when he came back I was still having fun playing the dating game! And although Carson was still so persisten we dated on and off for the next several months! Then it came to a final close.. we thought! then one day i had a bad dream about him and his family and i woke up still very sad so i txt Carson and he called me and chewed me out because he didnt want to talk because he thought i was over things because i had a boyfriend. He felt bad and showed up at my house and we went to lunch, even though i was supposed to spend the day in park city with my boyfriend i wanted so much more to go to lunch with carson! so i did and me and the other boy broke up that after noon!
It was a little rocky but we had a great time! Then.. broke up! hahah what the heck right! i told him i loved him when we broke up and he knew deep down that i was just being a scared little girl! so he left and then came back that same night! Kissed me for the first time since Indiana and the rest is history!
It was fast and Incredible but I knew with out a doubt that he was the one i wanted to marry! We knew each other well and had been through a lot together, so it was only a little while after that night that we decided to get married! he proposed on april 15th at bridal veil falls where i was completely surprised with the most beautiful ring! Then after what seemed like a grueling month and a half, we were married in the slc temple! and moved to East TX the very next day!
Married life is an adjustment! But one that is totally worth it! Carson is doing great selling this year and I am looking for a job and enjoying the pool! I love everything about being married to carson even if he does puts the roll of toilet paper on the wrong way and squeezes the toothpaste from the middle of the tube! I couldnt have asked for a better soul mate and can't wait for all the memories we are going to share together!
